Signed and dated by Thomas Kennedy (positioned on the top left of the inside back).  Thomas Kennedy made some of the most superb sounding cellos ever and this is certainly one of them.  It is a superb chamber/solo instrument with an exceptional tone quality throughout the whole spectrum of the instrument.
